NewsBytes
We wanted to focus today's NewsBytes on the incredible fundraising effort our brands have put it over last 12 days.

The donation initiatives from The Evening Standard (Food for London Now) and The Independent (Help the Hungry) will together fund the supply of food to children, underprivileged, the NHS and vulnerable in London, delivered through The Felix Project.

We hope you have some time over the weekend to have a read about the campaigns and see if there is any way you can support.

Happy Easter and #StayHome.

The Headline Numbers
The aim was to hit £1 million to help The Felix Project feed NHS workers, care workers, the poor and the vulnerable.
This was hit in 12 days.

The demand from people who cannot afford or access food is rising. The Felix project expect another 11 community hubs in another 11 boroughs to open their doors to hungry Londoners, and the output will need to double again. This is why we say:
£1 million raised and now another £1 million to go. Let’s finish the job and keep vulnerable Londoners healthy and fed.
